| I've been "working" with visual arts since high school, were i discovered photography and stage lighting for myself. I've always been attracted towards the visual aspect of things, but never really took the time to really get into it. A couple years back, in my audio/video repair class, i met Vincent Langlois, who, sparked up this attraction that had somewhat been left behind. I started working with video, editing and filming. Being fond of self teaching, I set out to learn Adobe's Premiere Pro on my own. About 40 hours after installing the program, out came Sick And Why the demo tape, the video itself is not all that good, the quality was horrible, but to the experienced eye, one could see the amount of work involved into this project. I've had good comments coming from experienced and known editors and film makers, but video wasn't quite my thing, i prefer stopping time rather than copy a laps of it, so i turned my attention back to photography. November 2006, my first digital SLR... Over the following 2 years, the shutter triggered over 50K times, it was learn as you go. In January 2008, my first live show shoot, i had never really used my camera for anything other than personal gatherings and what ever else I could set my eye on. Since then, i've become official photographer for 2 bands, and while i'm shooting their shows and what not, i shoot all the other bands playing, all for a free entrance and refreshments. I serve the Quebec city local and underground music scene, showing up in shows where I'm invited, simply to snap away. Bands like H2O, The Brains, MayGoRun!, Striver, MyOwnReply, Les Hellcats, Laurel, just to name a few. Then shots are posted on Myspace or/and Facebook for the bands to do what they like with them. A couple months ago i started experimenting a lot more, doing private shoots for friends, helping out on university projects, working in bars as a nightlife photographer for the drunk and amused. For now, i have no direction, but I want it that way, keeping my imagination as free as possible. KTY Picture, part of SickAndWhy Productions. Serving the Quebec local and underground scene since 2007. |

Personal Quote:
"The outcome of the Photograph depends largely, on the chosen subject and how it was taken, the camera itself is just a medium to register your idea's about the subject"

I have much to say, but that has nothing to do with this.
